Get Involved

Friends of Barshaw Park is powered by people like you.

There are so many ways you can volunteer for FOBP. Whatever you’re good at is great with us – whether you’re a good gardener, a top organiser, great with kids or older people, a brilliant fundraiser, or are social media savvy, it would be great to have you on-board to enhance the work of FOBP. We want you to enjoy your volunteering experience with us, and we will do all that we can to help and support you in your role.

Become a Trustee

Friends of Barshaw Park are looking for new Trustees to support and guide the charity as we move into an important new stage.

We are a Paisley-based charity working to help care for, improve and celebrate Barshaw Park as a safe, welcoming space for the local community and visitors.

We would love to hear from people with experience in fundraising, property, volunteer management, digital communications, health and safety, inclusion, governance, business administration or organisational development.

You do not need to have previous trustee experience. We welcome interest from people of all backgrounds who care about Barshaw Park and want to help support its future.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, we will be focused on building financial resilience, supporting our volunteers, developing the Community Garden, and progressing the Behind the Wall project.
