  • Who do i contact if the bins are over flowing

  • What should I do if a tree branch is hanging or unsafe?

    Please report any tree hazards to Renfrewshire Council’s Environmental Services department. If it's urgent, contact them by phone on 0300 300 0300 or via their website.

  • What is the history of Barshaw Park?

  • What groups are involved in looking after the park??

    The park is supported by Friends of Barshaw Park in partnership with Renfrewshire Council, community volunteers, and occasional partner organisations and funders.

  • What do swans eat?

    Please avoid feeding bread, which can be harmful. Safer foods include bird seed, sweetcorn, peas (defrosted), oats, or chopped lettuce.

  • What should I do if I see a sick or injured swan?

    Contact the Scottish SPCA on 03000 999 999 or report through their website. Avoid approaching the animal directly.

  • How do I volunteer with Friends of Barshaw Park?
